Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous wait staff or customer service experience preferred especially in hospitality or healthcare settings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for serving older adults and enhancing their dining experience
  • Dependability, professionalism, and a team-focused mindset
  • Ability to read and write at a 6th grade level
  • Flexibility to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Provide friendly, timely, and professional table service to residents during mealtimes

  • Ensure that tables are clean, properly set, and residents feel valued and attended to
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure meals are served correctly and promptly
  • Maintain a warm and respectful environment in the dining room
  • Maintains high standards for personal appearance and hygiene
  • Follows all food service department policies and safety rules
