Job Requirements

  • Ability to communicate and understand the directions of management
  • Must be able to work rapidly during rush periods
  • Able to work with co-workers as a team
  • 6+ months prior professional server experience
  • Attention to detail

  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
  • Work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends
  • Ability to walk/stand for up to 8 hours
  • Ability to lift and move tables, chairs, and equipment of 40lbs or more
  • Be able to climb stairs, bend, stoop, reach overhead, pull & push and or lift a tray of 50lbs

Job Duties

  • Provides immediate friendly, positive, and attentive attention to all members/guests upon seating
  • Must be willing to learn and remember members' names
  • Detail orientated in taking food & beverage orders for members/guests
  • Maintaining the highest standards of member service
  • Memorizing the menu and recommend appetizers, meals and drinks from restaurant wine stock
  • Deliver a memorable dining experience by resolving all members issues promptly
  • Setting tables and rearranging the dining area to accommodate larger groups and prepare the restaurant for special events
  • Helps patrons select food and beverages by suggesting courses, explaining chef's specialties, identifying appropriate beverage pairings, and answering food preparation questions
  • Service of orders in a timely, efficient manner per standard operating procedures
  • Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, and being alert to patron spills or other special needs
  • Remains readily accessible and attentive to members and guests at all times
  • Maintain a high level of safety and cleanliness
  • Bus tables as needed
  • Concludes dining experience by acknowledging choice of restaurant and inviting members/guests to return
  • Ensures members/guests are charged correctly
  • Keeps inventory of dining room items and notifies management when items need to be replenished
