Job Requirements

  • Part-time availability with open schedule including weekends and Saturdays
  • Must have or be willing to obtain San Bernardino County Food Handler's Certificate
  • Prior customer service or food service experience preferred
  • Ability to work varied lunch and dinner shifts
  • Reliable and punctual with strong work ethic
  • Compassionate attitude towards elderly residents
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience in customer service or food service
  • Ability to show compassion and empathy towards senior residents
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic knowledge of food safety practices
  • Willingness to obtain San Bernardino County Food Handler's Certificate if not already certified
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent customer service to residents during meal times
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
  • Assist residents with dining needs and ensure their comfort
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations including obtaining and maintaining food handler certification
  • Collaborate effectively with kitchen and clinical teams
  • Attend scheduled shifts including varied lunch and dinner hours and weekends especially Saturdays
