Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in waitstaff or food service preferred
  • Ability to work on weekdays and weekends with open availability
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to use tablet technology for order taking
  • Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Commitment to teamwork and resident-focused service

  • Knowledgeable about meals offered and modified diets
  • Strong communication skills

Job Duties

  • Complete assigned tasks before, during, and after dining room operations, including menu review and side jobs
  • Serve food and beverages in the proper sequence
  • Utilize a tablet for order taking with accuracy
  • Maintain knowledge of meals offered and adhere to dietary modifications as needed
  • Keep tables neat and clean, promptly removing soiled dishes and resetting tables uniformly
  • Work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors, addressing any complaints or unsafe conditions
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures, including those in the Employee Handbook
  • Maintain proper food temperatures and apply basic sanitation standards
  • Ability to accurately plate and serve meals according to ticket orders, with attention to dietary needs in a healthcare setting
