Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and remain active for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 lbs
  • Comfortable working in hot and cold environments
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding restaurant setting
  • For California positions: Responsible Beverage Service Certification required (training provided, completion within 60 days of hire)

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is beneficial
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Knowledge of basic food safety and responsible beverage service as applicable
  • Ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Deliver exceptional hospitality by providing friendly, prompt, and attentive service tailored to each guest
  • Greet guests, take accurate food and beverage orders, and ensure timely delivery
  • Maintain strong knowledge of menu items to confidently recommend, upsell, and reinforce orders
  • Verify order accuracy and review orders with guests to ensure complete satisfaction
  • Assist with food preparation support and condiment assembly following Outback standards
  • Support team operations by bussing tables, delivering food and drinks, and maintaining dining areas
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards throughout the shift
  • Collaborate with fellow Outbackers to ensure every opportunity to WOW the guest is achieved
  • Adhere to safe food handling and responsible beverage service practices
