Job Requirements

  • Meet assigned shift requirements
  • Regularly push, pull, and carry objects
  • Stand and walk on foot at least 6-8 hours
  • Reach at shoulder level and below waist constantly, above head occasionally
  • Bend downward or forward at waist or knees occasionally
  • Talk and listen to communicate instructions
  • Light work exerting up to 20 pounds of force
  • Able to visualize accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of assigned work
  • Have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
  • Pass a tuberculosis skin test within 12 months of the date of hire or be vaccinated/issued at the age of 16 or older
  • Pass a drug screening test
  • Work in an air-conditioned environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous cash handling experience preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a host or server preferred
  • Basic math and writing skills
  • Able to interact with guests and co-workers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Possess problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Proficient in reading, writing, speaking and comprehending the English language
  • Trustworthy with company property
  • Enjoys multitasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Punctual and dependable

Job Duties

  • Effectively handle assigned section by greeting guests, taking orders promptly, accurately inputting orders into the POS, process guest checks and payments properly
  • Efficiently serve food to guests, refill drinks, and bus tables promptly after guests leave
  • Describe menu items, ongoing promotions and special menu items proficiently
  • Answer guest inquiries in a purposeful manner
  • Maintain constant communication with kitchen staff and update guests on their order status
  • Prepare and serve beverages and desserts
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary work and guest area through cleaning, organizing, and replenishing necessary items
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
