Job Requirements

valid driver’s license
clean DMV record
high school diploma or equivalent preferred
ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
professional personal appearance
excellent verbal and written communication skills
ability to meet company’s production and quality standards
basic technology skills including email, microsoft office and mobile device
physical ability to lift 25 to 50 pounds
ability to spend time outdoors and indoors
ability to stand, walk and sit regularly
willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays
ability to follow lawful directions from supervisors
maintain confidentiality and uphold company non-disclosure policies

Job Duties

wash vehicle exterior, clean interior and exterior windows and wipe down doorjambs
vacuum interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris
clean engine and engine compartment with steam-cleaning equipment and cleaning agents
inspect vehicles for noticeable defects such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery and poor mechanical operation
use proper eye, hand and body protection when using products that require protection
fill vehicle with fuel
apply dressing on tires and tire wells
maintain showroom and stock vehicles in clean and presentable condition at all times
keep work area neat and clean
use buffer to detail vehicles
report any safety issues immediately to management
empty garbage into designated areas
open lot for business and close lot when closing
keep service drive clear and clean at all times
clean customer lounge area and coffee area at all times
maintain appearance of entire lot
operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner
park vehicles in accordance with policy and under direction of sales and marketing to ensure the lot is attractive to potential buyers
assist sales and service staff in moving vehicles to ensure efficient dealership operations
responsible for adding and maintaining key tags and window stickers on all lot vehicles
drive vehicles to other dealerships for dealer swaps or to other vendors as requested
may pick-up or deliver customers as requested using dealership vehicles
complete additional tasks as directed
