Job Duties
- Adheres to all regulatory requirements and professional standards
- develops and implements a robust volunteer program that evaluates the effectiveness for current and anticipated needs of patients, families and the hospice agency's needs
- developing, implementing, and evaluating an orientation and in-service program for all levels of volunteers
- coordinating and supervising volunteer services provided to patients according to the interdisciplinary group care plan
- recording services of volunteers, including type of service, time worked, and documentation of cost savings achieved through the use of volunteers
- follows policies and procedures consistent with recognized standards of professional practice
- provide high levels of communication both internally with the Kindful team and externally with patients and families to assure top CAHPS scores
- collaborate with your Clinical Director and entire team to provide a concierge level hospice experience
