Job Requirements
- working-level knowledge of English language including reading, writing, and speaking
- bachelor’s degree in human relations or similar preferred
- minimum one year of supervisory experience
- experience in customer service leadership or volunteer coordination preferred
- ability to obtain and maintain valid State of Nevada driver's license and pass Renown Health DMV criteria
- proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- ability to complete online training and comply with hospital policies
- knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and The Joint Commission regulations
- commitment to professional conduct and patient confidentiality
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human relations or a related field preferred
- supervisory experience of at least one year required
- experience in customer service leadership preferred
- volunteer coordinator or human resources experience preferred
- certificate in volunteer administration preferred
- proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- effective communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to maintain professional relationships with patients, families, volunteers, and staff
Job Duties
- Recruit volunteers for Renown Health programs
- conduct background checks and issue volunteer ID badges and proximity cards
- maintain and update volunteer files and records
- train, evaluate, and schedule volunteers according to hospital needs
- coordinate volunteer duties and support departments requiring volunteer assistance
- facilitate communication and collaboration between volunteers and hospital staff
- organize special events and community outreach initiatives to promote volunteer involvement
