Job Requirements
- Part-time availability of 25 hours per week
- Ability to work in a hybrid remote and office environment
- Experience with volunteer coordination or community engagement
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and volunteer management software
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Valid Florida driver’s license
- Ability to pass Level 2 background screening
- Commitment to the mission of supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental differences
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in volunteer coordination or community engagement
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and volunteer management software
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Excellent organizational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Valid Florida driver’s license
- Ability to pass Level 2 background screening
- Passion for helping people with disabilities and fostering inclusion
Job Duties
- Recruit, onboard, and coordinate a diverse volunteer team
- Organize volunteer scheduling, tracking, and communication
- Create and deliver volunteer orientations, trainings, and celebrations
- Design volunteer recognition initiatives, including thank-you notes and special events
- Serve as a point of contact for volunteers fulfilling special service requirements
- Represent Angelwood at community events and establish new volunteer partnerships
- Collaborate with program teams to align volunteer talents with opportunities
- Maintain accurate volunteer records and create reports using Excel and Word
