Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services, rehabilitation, social work, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience working with individuals with IDD preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships with community partners and employers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic data tracking systems
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Solid communicator, energetic, and friendly
  • Valid Texas driver’s license and related insurance

Job Duties

  • Assess clients’ vocational interests, strengths, and support needs
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and company standards
  • Participate in program development and service expansion initiatives
  • Develop individualized vocational plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
  • Identify and cultivate job training, volunteer, and employment opportunities in the community
  • Provide on-site job coaching and follow-up support as needed
  • Maintain documentation and track client progress toward vocational goals
  • Recruit, screen, and onboard volunteers for various roles across the organization
  • Develop and deliver volunteer orientation and training programs
  • Schedule and supervise volunteers, ensuring a positive and productive experience
  • Maintain volunteer records and track hours and impact
  • Maintain online resources and frequent communication for volunteers
  • Plan volunteer appreciation events and recognition initiatives
  • Engage in volunteer recruitment initiatives within the community as needed
  • Other job duties as assigned
