Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred
- 1 year of experience in grocery or retail environment preferred
- 1 year of experience supervising others preferred
- 1 year of experience in vitamins/supplements preferred
- ability to pass food safety training and certifications as required by law and maintain compliance
- ability to manage changing priorities and stay focused
- possess a sense of urgency
- excellent customer service skills
- highly organized with attention to detail
- ability to take direction and follow through
- cashier trained and able to count currency
- proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook

Job Duties
- Providing world class customer service and a positive customer experience daily
- exemplifying integrity, responsibility, and excellence and adhering to all policies
- creating inviting, full and shopable departments
- assisting department managers in ordering and maintaining accurate inventory levels
- managing margin, driving sales, and department profitability including minimizing shrink
- ensuring all in-stock products meet company standards
- offering and following up on special orders
- merchandising shelves, endcaps and dynamic displays
- assisting in tagging, facing, rotating, cleaning, markdowns, stocking, and backstock
- assisting in training and monitoring department personnel including assigning and following up on tasks
- conducting active and passive demos
- working with department managers to address performance issues
- supporting store opening and closing activities including daily sales report and cash handling
- handling register functions including backup cashiering and managing customer returns
- maintaining the safety and security of customers and employees
- answering customer questions per company standards including health supportive statements
- continually increasing product knowledge
- using SAP and inventory management software
- working a schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- not serving as overall manager on duty
