Job Requirements

  • Must have at least two years of supervisory experience in operations or customer service
  • Availability to work evening and weekend hours
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but supplemental experience considered
  • Experience with Point of Sale systems required
  • Must have strong communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must possess valid driver’s license
  • Must pass background check

Job Duties

  • Recruit, hire, supervise, train, and coach Museum Experience Associates
  • Schedule Museum Experience Associates and distribute schedules promptly
  • Manage training and communication systems about exhibitions and museum activities
  • Serve as site-wide Manager on Duty including weekends and special events
  • Assist with site-wide operations and departmental needs
  • Develop, implement, and maintain procedures for admission ticketing system
  • Provide ongoing training on reservation software, customer service, and membership specials
  • Maintain coverage for call-offs and breaks
  • Oversee and troubleshoot reservation and POS systems including vendor issues
  • Assist Membership department with membership growth strategies
  • Work with Membership Manager on promotional material updates
  • Manage phone tree script configuration
  • Oversee info @ mailbox
  • Perform other duties as requested by management
