Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year experience as a VIP host in a high-volume, nightlife setting
  • Must be 21+ years of age
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be able to stand during entire shifts, often up to 8 hours with frequent bending, squatting, and lifting plates, boxes, and objects up to 30lbs
  • Must be able to be in a fast-paced environment that is often loud and stressful
  • Must be reliable, responsible, and trustworthy
  • Must be able to maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Greet and escort guests to tables in a gracious and professional manner
  • Create a professional, upscale, and welcoming environment for all VIP guests
  • Establish relationships with VIP guests to ensure an exemplary experience
  • Control the flow of guests coming into the venue
  • Oversee reservations and pre-assign seating when necessary
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency
  • Maintain a proactive approach to solving guest queries
  • Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department
  • Complete any assigned opening, side work, and closing duties
  • Reinforce guest identification requirements and age restrictions for alcohol sales in accordance with state law
  • Follow all safe food and alcohol handling procedures in accordance with state law
  • Communicate with management regarding special orders and requests
  • Ensure lost items are returned to management
  • Act as a brand ambassador for the company
