Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year bartending experience
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks
- Must pass company-formulated tests on pouring and product knowledge
Job Qualifications
- Prior bartending experience in a similar upscale environment
- Knowledge of wide variety of spirits, wines, and cocktails
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to operate POS systems and handle cash transactions with accuracy
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations
- Attention to detail and time management skills
Job Duties
- Practice, support and promote company culture and service standards
- Know product classes and brand names including alternatives for unavailable items
- Prepare and pour drinks in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintain knowledge of drink recipes and garnishments
- Keep bar and workstations clean, stocked and organized
- Verify par levels and report shortages or equipment needs
- Provide approachable and anticipatory service to guests
