Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Preferred associate or bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field
  • Preferred master’s degree or specialized certifications such as CHA or CMP
  • Minimum 1-3 years progressive experience in luxury hotel or resort
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs maximum and frequently lift up to 25 lbs
  • Able to walk and stand for extended periods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Discretion and confidentiality
  • Flexibility to handle emergencies and special requests
  • Proficiency in hotel systems and software

Job Duties

  • Ensure accurate collection and maintenance of guest preferences and special requests
  • Contact VIP guests prior to their arrival to confirm details including room preferences and transportation
  • Collaborate with front desk, housekeeping, and food and beverage teams to prepare for VIP arrivals
  • Oversee the guest's arrival experience including airport transfers and room upgrades
  • Provide concierge support and personalized services to VIP guests
  • Manage special requests and bespoke services
  • Build and maintain relationships with repeat VIP guests
  • Handle crises or emergencies involving VIP guests promptly and professionally
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion with high-profile guests
  • Keep detailed records of guest preferences and feedback
  • Provide regular updates and reports to management on VIP guest satisfaction and operational concerns
  • Perform other duties as required by management
