Job Requirements
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods up to 8 hours per shift
- frequent bending kneeling reaching and lifting up to 50 pounds
- comfortable using cleaning equipment and handling cleaning products safely
- servsafe and responsible beverage certifications preferred
Job Qualifications
- 2 years previous supervisory or leadership experience in luxury dining or hospitality
- strong knowledge of Forbes service standards and luxury guest interactions
- demonstrated ability to coach train and develop colleagues
- previous experience with scheduling payroll oversight hiring and performance management
- proven ability to lead teams build engagement and drive results
- strong operational organizational and financial acumen
- servsafe and responsible beverage certifications required or obtained upon hire
- excellent communication teamwork and problem-solving skills
- ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- lead the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets and banquet functions with a strong visible presence on the floor
- ensure consistent alignment with Forbes Travel Guide standards in every guest interaction
- partner with the director of food and beverage on forecasting budgeting cost control and labor management
- oversee the creation and management of schedules ensuring adequate staffing for all outlets and events
- drive hiring efforts including participation in interviews selection onboarding and ongoing development
- coach mentor and evaluate colleagues and supervisors fostering a culture of accountability and luxury hospitality
- lead the execution of private events and banquets in partnership with the events and culinary teams
