Job Requirements

  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods up to 8 hours per shift
  • frequent bending kneeling reaching and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • comfortable using cleaning equipment and handling cleaning products safely
  • servsafe and responsible beverage certifications preferred

Job Qualifications

  • 2 years previous supervisory or leadership experience in luxury dining or hospitality
  • strong knowledge of Forbes service standards and luxury guest interactions
  • demonstrated ability to coach train and develop colleagues
  • previous experience with scheduling payroll oversight hiring and performance management
  • proven ability to lead teams build engagement and drive results
  • strong operational organizational and financial acumen
  • servsafe and responsible beverage certifications required or obtained upon hire
  • excellent communication teamwork and problem-solving skills
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • lead the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets and banquet functions with a strong visible presence on the floor
  • ensure consistent alignment with Forbes Travel Guide standards in every guest interaction
  • partner with the director of food and beverage on forecasting budgeting cost control and labor management
  • oversee the creation and management of schedules ensuring adequate staffing for all outlets and events
  • drive hiring efforts including participation in interviews selection onboarding and ongoing development
  • coach mentor and evaluate colleagues and supervisors fostering a culture of accountability and luxury hospitality
  • lead the execution of private events and banquets in partnership with the events and culinary teams
