Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred
  • equivalent relevant experience may be considered
  • one to three years of previous video production experience
  • must be a licensed commercial drone pilot
  • ability to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • able to lift up to 35 lbs
  • willing to travel extensively including home and road games and Spring Training
  • willingness to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency in videography and video editing
  • strong skills with Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere and After Effects
  • experience operating ENG cameras and related video production equipment
  • licensed drone pilot with knowledge of flying rules and approval processes
  • experience with motion graphic animations and storyboarding
  • knowledge of audio recording and sound design
  • capability to create and produce storyboards
  • experience with asset and file management
  • familiarity with project management software, Asana knowledge a plus
  • strong visual storytelling abilities
  • knowledge of baseball
  • excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines

Job Duties

  • Serve as the lead video editor, ENG shooter and drone pilot for Mariners Television Broadcasts
  • Capture a variety of content including interviews, set/studio shoots, game coverage, behind the scenes and community events
  • Film pre-game and postgame activities such as scenic shots, interviews, media scrums and news conferences
  • Act as a primary shooter at Spring Training covering daily ENG and game coverage, and assist with other production needs
  • Operate drone for filming scenic shots and live coverage, ensuring compliance with FAA and MLB regulations
  • Collaborate with producers and peers to create high-quality video elements that align with club and broadcast objectives
  • Manage video production equipment operation, storage, and upkeep to ensure readiness and optimal performance
