Job Requirements
- Culinary degree or equivalent work experience
- At least five years of relevant experience in high-quality, high-volume, and multi-unit operations preferred
- Two years of supervisory experience preferred
- Food Safety Employee Training required
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Ability to perform basic and intermediate math skills
- Knowledge of statutory requirements regarding health and safety, sanitation, proper chemical usage, fire procedures, and HACCP

- Knowledge of all kitchen equipment operations
- Ability to read, write, and understand English

- Knowledge, understanding, and compliance of policies, procedures, job descriptions, memorandums, chemical labels, and instructions

Job Duties
- Design and implement menus that fit the requirements of a particular outlet as set out by the Executive Chef
- Provide recipes, training and experience to all staff so as to improve on all things where possible
- Relay any information from the kitchen or to the kitchen relevant to the daily operations through briefings or staff meetings
- Maintain high standards of appearance and good personal hygiene
- Adhere to company policies and statutory requirements regarding health and safety, sanitation, fire procedures, and HACCP
- Support and develop colleagues on a professional level
- Report to work on time and properly notify of sickness or absence
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation in all culinary work areas and that all colleagues clean their stations after every service
- Ensure safe and proper use of kitchen equipment and instruct colleagues accordingly
- Maintain a good work environment by addressing defects and ensuring proper tools are available
- Set and maintain a high food standard for colleagues to aspire to
- Perform other job duties as required
