Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Facilities Management, Real Estate, Operations, or related field
  • experience in technology companies or fast-paced environments required
  • 12+ years of experience in corporate real estate, workplace operations, or facilities leadership within high-growth or mid-size organizations
  • proven experience planning and leading office or headquarters expansions
  • experience managing global office portfolios including lease renewals, negotiations, and site sourcing
  • strong background in facilities operations, workplace services, and hospitality programs
  • experience overseeing corporate travel programs and tools such as Navan
  • demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams while managing complex operational priorities
  • strong vendor management, contract negotiation, and budgeting skills
  • excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills including experience working with executive leadership

Job Duties

  • Partner with senior executives to define and execute a global real estate and workplace strategy that supports Illumio's long-range vision and growth trajectory
  • serve as a trusted advisor to the CFO and executive leadership, shaping workplace strategy, portfolio planning, and operational priorities
  • oversee long-range planning for Illumio's global real estate portfolio, using data and scenario modeling to guide strategic decisions
  • evaluate portfolio risks and opportunities to ensure flexibility, scalability, and financial discipline
  • lead the expansion of Illumio's office footprint including evaluating locations, identifying new office opportunities, managing site selection, overseeing lease negotiations and build-out
  • develop a cohesive workplace experience vision that strengthens collaboration, culture, and employee engagement across all locations
  • oversee the global food program including daily catering, snacks, beverages, menu planning, vendor performance, and cost management
  • lead employee amenities programs including onsite car washes, massages, fitness offerings, wellness services, and other services that enhance the in-office experience
  • oversee workplace events and cultural programming including happy hours, celebrations, onsite gatherings, and cultural observances
  • establish operating standards, KPIs, and governance mechanisms that drive performance, transparency, and consistency across workplace services
  • oversee operating and capital budgets for workplace programs
  • oversee facilities management operations including HVAC and mechanical systems, janitorial and cleanliness standards, repairs and maintenance, building services, and life-safety programs
  • own and manage the corporate travel program including Navan administration, policy governance, compliance oversight, and travel-related analytics
  • optimize and oversee corporate travel spend by identifying savings opportunities and negotiating discounted rates with hotels and other travel partners
  • lead ESG and sustainability initiatives tied to workplace operations and resource efficiency
  • oversee global safety, emergency preparedness, and business continuity
  • leverage workplace technologies and analytics to modernize operations and enable data-driven decision-making
  • build and develop a high-performing team
  • manage a strategic vendor ecosystem that ensures high-quality execution and responsible cost management
