Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10-15+ years of progressive operations leadership experience
  • Significant responsibility at VP or senior director level
  • Proven P&L ownership
  • Experience in multi-state operations preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to operate in fast-paced regulated environments
  • Ability to lead and develop multi-location teams

Job Qualifications

  • 10-15+ years of progressive operations leadership experience with significant responsibility at the VP or senior director level
  • Extensive cannabis industry experience preferred including multi-state operations
  • Proven track record of P&L ownership budget management and financial accountability
  • Demonstrated success leading large complex teams across multiple locations or states
  • Strong background in sales operations process improvement and operational scaling
  • Bachelor’s degree required Master’s degree preferred
  • Executive-level business acumen with the ability to balance strategy and execution
  • Deep understanding of operational metrics KPIs and data-driven decision making
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to drive accountability at all levels
  • Excellent communication and influence skills across executive and frontline teams
  • Highly organized decisive and comfortable operating in a fast-paced regulated environment

Job Duties

  • Serve as a member of the leadership team contributing to company-wide strategy growth planning and operational scaling
  • Translate business strategy into executable operational plans with measurable outcomes
  • Lead mentor and develop managers and operational leaders across multiple states and functions
  • Establish a culture of accountability performance and continuous improvement
  • Own full P&L responsibility across operations including revenue growth margin optimization labor controls and expense management
  • Develop and manage annual operating budgets forecast performance and proactively course-correct
  • Partner with finance on financial modeling capital planning and cost-reduction initiatives
  • Drive operational decisions based on data KPIs and financial impact
  • Collaborate with retail leadership to optimize sales performance store execution and customer experience
  • Ensure operational alignment with sales goals promotional strategies and market demand
  • Drive consistency in execution across locations to maximize revenue and profitability
  • Lead enterprise-level process improvement initiatives across retail cultivation production and distribution
  • Standardize operating procedures while allowing for state-specific regulatory requirements
  • Implement scalable systems workflows and performance metrics to support growth
  • Identify inefficiencies bottlenecks and risk areas and fix them
  • Ensure operations comply with all state and local cannabis regulations safety standards and company policies
  • Partner with legal compliance and people teams to mitigate operational risk
  • Oversee operational readiness for audits inspections and regulatory changes
  • Maintain consistent operational standards across all jurisdictions while adapting to local requirements
  • Work closely with HR finance compliance operations and security to align operational execution with company priorities
  • Support leadership development succession planning and talent optimization across operations
  • Act as a decisive solutions-oriented partner to the CEO and executive team
