Job Requirements

  • College degree from an accredited university preferred
  • 10 years marketing experience in comparable industries with 4 years in a senior management position
  • exceptional track record of developing and implementing marketing and sales strategies
  • ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff
  • demonstrated ability to manage outsourced marketing activities including PR and corporate identity systems
  • strong strategic planning and analysis skills
  • extremely effective public speaking skills and presence

Job Duties

  • Define the appropriate marketing organization for the company’s maturity/size
  • live the part by being a role model for the company culture
  • strategic planning including corporate positioning, market and competitive analysis, Bleaulive events, customer segment selection and penetration plans, and related product positioning
  • oversee marketing communications including branding, public relations, advertising, trade shows, seminars, event collateral materials, analyst and market research management, and website design and content
  • oversee product marketing including product launch management, sales training, presentations, sales tools, competitive analysis, and general sales support
  • work with the COO and other executive team members to identify and develop strategic alliances, raise venture/public financing, and grow major customer accounts
  • define and direct marketing programs for demand creation, lead generation, and interface with VP of Sales for lead tracking and management
  • work closely with VP of Sales to develop and manage channel and partner strategies and programs
  • develop and manage the company's entire marketing budget
  • develop and track metrics and success criteria for all marketing programs and activities
  • act as spokesperson for the company with press and analysts and at industry events
  • create productive relationships with strategic partners
  • serve as the keeper of the brand
  • perform other related duties as required
