Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field
  • minimum 10 years of experience in hospitality leadership roles

Job Duties

  • Direct the overall operations and staff of Facilities, Food and Beverage, and Hotel Operations departments
  • develop, implement, and manage operational goals
  • monitor achievements of performance and profit objectives
  • ensure scheduling is effective and efficient while maintaining labor costs and staffing objectives
  • prepare, monitor, and adhere to budgets
  • support and promote superior customer service
  • make final decisions on hotel policies and resolve occupant complaints
  • oversee master and direct bill accounts
  • ensure all necessary tools and equipment are operational
  • coordinate daily and weekly department meetings
  • act as liaison between architects, designers, subcontractors, building officials, and executive management on engineering projects
  • inspect completed work for conformance to blueprints and quality standards
  • develop plans to serve expanding facility needs
  • ensure OSHA standards are followed
  • collaborate with Marketing to drive occupancy and maximize revenue
  • make final financial decisions including room rates and menu pricing
  • schedule repairs, maintenance, and installation of equipment
  • work with outside vendors for cost-effective solutions
  • develop and monitor preventive maintenance programs
  • participate in executive management operating plans
  • maximize daily revenue and manage costs and labor
  • lead management and supervisory teams
  • present operational updates and explain variances
  • ensure quality control in product receiving, holding, and issuance
  • connect operational challenges to strategic direction
  • assist in designing and engineering food and beverage menus and hotel information
  • implement and audit inventory and cost control systems
  • ensure regulatory compliance
