Job Requirements

  • Must hold commercial and instrument helicopter ratings
  • Must have a first class medical certificate
  • Minimum 2,000 total flight hours including specific helicopter and turbine hours
  • Must have night flight experience as required
  • Must meet weight limit of 235 pounds
  • Must be able to pass physical exam including lifting 100 pounds
  • Must pass drug screening and background checks
  • Must reside within 1-hour commute of Mesa, AZ base
  • Must be willing to participate in community outreach and company safety programs
  • Must be available for 7 and 7 day/night shifts
  • Must demonstrate strong communication and customer service skills

Job Qualifications

  • Commercial helicopter rating
  • Instrument helicopter rating
  • First Class Medical certificate
  • Minimum 2,000 total flight hours
  • Minimum 1,500 hours helicopter flight time
  • Minimum 1,000 hours PIC helicopter time
  • 500 hours turbine helicopter flight time
  • 100 hours unaided night operations or 50 hours unaided plus 100 hours NVG
  • Strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Ability to pass pre-placement physical and background checks

Job Duties

  • Operate AS350 aircraft in compliance with CAMTS guidelines
  • Perform 24-hour VFR and NVG operations with instrument rating
  • Assist with loading and unloading of patients and equipment
  • Participate in community outreach programs
  • Perform line pilot duties according to GOM
  • Support company safety campaigns including Destination Zero
  • Provide safe, efficient, courteous, and reliable service to customers
