Job Requirements
- One plus years experience as a veterinary technician
- Veterinary technician certification or licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT)
- Ability to work full-time 30-40 hours per week with rotating 10 hour shifts
- Commitment to patient care and client education
- Ability to handle emergency situations
- Willingness to participate in continuing education and training opportunities
- Must be a team player
Job Qualifications
- Veterinary technician certification or licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT)
- At least one year of experience as a veterinary technician
- Newly licensed technicians encouraged to apply
- Strong clinical knowledge in veterinary care
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies including AI-assisted tools
- Excellent communication skills with clients and team members
Job Duties
- Focus on patient care including patient handling and husbandry
- Provide client education
- Participate in surgical and dental nursing and anesthesia management
- Maintain detailed record keeping
- Manage diagnostics and medication administration
- Perform emergency triage and response
- Collaborate closely with veterinarians, nurses, and medical leadership
