Job Duties
- Greet clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
- manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and handle messages efficiently
- process payments, balance cash drawers, and manage daily financial transactions
- maintain and update patient records and contact information
- prepare and review invoices, estimates, and consent forms
- support communication between clients and the medical team
- monitor the flow of appointments to help the team stay on schedule
- keep the lobby tidy, welcoming, and fully stocked
- assist veterinarians and technicians during exams and procedures
- comfort and safely restrain pets during exams or treatments
- clean and prepare exam rooms and treatment areas
- monitor and care for boarding and hospitalized patients
- perform basic husbandry tasks such as feeding, walking, cleaning kennels
- restock supplies and ensure all areas are organized and ready for the next patient
- maintain cleanliness throughout the hospital to uphold high standards of care
- communicate with warmth, clarity, and confidence
- support teammates and welcome learning for both yourself and others
