Job Requirements

  • education equivalent to completion of the 12th grade
  • 2-3 years veterinary reception experience
  • experience working in a veterinary hospital setting
  • ability to communicate empathetically and set boundaries
  • proficiency in managing appointment schedules and financial transactions
  • strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • willingness to work flexible hours if needed

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • represent the practice in all facets of client service including telephone and electronic communications
  • schedule appointments and procedures effectively
  • manage hospitality and client experience to ensure satisfaction
  • handle financial transactions and collect fees accurately
  • market the practice to phone shoppers and convert prospects into clients
  • communicate important information between clients and the practice
  • create and maintain accurate medical and financial records
