Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • availability to work 24-30 hours per week
  • ability to work rotating Saturday shifts
  • excellent communication skills
  • experience in customer service or veterinary settings preferred
  • proficiency with computer software
  • ability to manage multiple tasks
  • strong attention to detail
  • reliable and professional work ethic

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a veterinary or customer service role preferred
  • excellent communication and organization skills
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • proficiency with practice management software is a plus
  • strong interpersonal skills and empathy for clients and their pets
  • ability to work rotating Saturday shifts
  • dependable and professional attitude

Job Duties

  • Welcome clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism
  • answer and route phone calls promptly and accurately
  • schedule appointments, surgeries, and follow-up visits
  • maintain accurate client and patient records in the practice management software
  • process payments and balance the cash drawer daily
  • communicate clearly with veterinarians and technicians to ensure smooth patient flow
  • handle prescription refill requests and relay accurate information
  • educate clients on preventive care, products, and services when appropriate
  • assist in managing the lobby environment to keep it calm, clean, and organized
  • support the team with general administrative and clerical tasks as needed
  • celebrate client and team milestones
  • bring positivity and teamwork to every interaction
