Job Requirements

  • Veterinary reception experience required
  • AVImark experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to learn and understand basic veterinary concepts
  • Strong multitasking skills

Job Qualifications

  • Veterinary reception experience
  • Experience with AVImark software preferred
  • Ability to learn and understand basic veterinary concepts such as vaccines, preventatives, and common conditions
  • Strong multitasking, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Professional and friendly demeanor
  • Calm under pressure

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent, compassionate client service both in person and over the phone
  • Greet clients, check patients in and out, and manage payment processing
  • Answer multi-line phone calls, screen needs, and schedule appointments
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail and email and other client communications
  • Maintain a clean and organized client lobby
  • Accurately document client information, communication notes, and other patient data
  • Escalate complex or sensitive situations to senior staff when needed
  • Collaborate closely with the team to support smooth patient flow and a positive client experience
