Animal Medical Center is a well-established, progressive, and fast-paced companion animal veterinary practice located in Hernando, Mississippi, with an additional branch in neighboring Senatobia, Mississippi. The center is known for its commitment to providing comprehensive veterinary care, supported by a team of three dedicated doctors. The practice offers a wide array of services to ensure the health and well-being of animals. Job Requirements

  • minimum of 1-year veterinary receptionist experience
  • ability to handle unpleasant odors and noises
  • comfortable being exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
  • computer literacy
  • compassionate and patient demeanor

Job Duties

  • maintain the visual appeal of the hospital reception area
  • greet and welcome clients and patients
  • answer questions and triage client concerns
  • answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution
  • schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow
  • check in and check out clients and process payments
  • offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need
