Job Duties
- Check patients in, discharge patients, invoice
- provide customer service such as greeting customers, answering questions, processing incoming patients, handling payments
- answer phone calls including scheduling appointments and recording messages
- handle incoming and outgoing mail and email
- update and file patient charts
- enter data into computerized billing program
- retrieve prescriptions
- assist with pet supply purchases
- maintain cleanliness of waiting room
- lift 50 pounds, stoop, bend, and stand for long periods
- perform retail sales
