- Previous experience in a medical or veterinary front desk, receptionist, or administrative assistant role
- Basic knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures
- Ability to handle sensitive topics such as end-of-life care and financial discussions with empathy
- Ability to maintain a calm, professional, and positive demeanor

Job Duties
- Be the first point of contact
- Greet clients and their pets warmly, complete the sign-in process, verify and confirm appointment details, and ensure clients feel informed and reassured
- Support clinical flow by escorting clients to exam rooms and assisting in relaying key information between clients and clinical staff
- Manage client communications including handling incoming calls for appointments, care questions, prescription refills, and making outbound calls for reminders and follow-ups
- Operate with accuracy by processing payments, managing invoicing, and scheduling future appointments with attention to detail
- Speak the language by understanding and communicating clearly about common vaccines, lab tests, procedures, pet behavior, and veterinary terminology
- Create a welcoming space by maintaining a clean, organized, and client-ready environment, occasionally assisting with pet-related clean-up to ensure a pleasant experience for all visitors
