Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • three or more years of veterinary receptionist experience
  • availability to work a 4/10 schedule Monday through Friday and every other weekend from 8a-12p
  • strong communication skills

Job Duties

  • Lead the front office team and direct clinic workflow
  • assist with training and developing team members
  • provide client service and communication
  • collaborate with other team members
  • manage phone lines and book appointments
  • set up new clients and patients
  • handle over-the-counter sales
  • process financial transactions
  • perform general front desk duties such as email, faxing, and filing
  • ensure the reception area is clean and presentable
  • maintain attention to detail and awareness of surroundings within the practice
