Dogwood Trails Animal Hospital is a brand-new, state-of-the-art small animal hospital located in Bentonville, Arkansas. Since opening its doors in October 2024, Dogwood Trails has been dedicated to providing comprehensive veterinary services to ensure the health and well-being of pets throughout all stages of life. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in customer service or veterinary environment preferred
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • basic knowledge of veterinary terminology and pet care
  • proficiency in handling payment transactions
  • ability to work full-time with the given schedule

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a veterinary receptionist or medical office assistant is preferred
  • strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • ability to maintain a calm, professional, and positive demeanor

Job Duties

  • Greet clients and their pets, complete the appointment sign-in process, confirm appointment details
  • answer client questions and triage client concerns
  • ensure accurate service and product sales accounting, handle payments, process credit/debit cards, and schedule future appointments
  • answer client calls for appointments, hospital inquiries, medication refills, and other requests
  • make outbound calls for appointment reminders and follow-ups
  • understand common vaccination protocols, basic lab tests, common diseases, veterinary terminology, and pet behavior
  • assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization to ensure a positive client experience
