Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-year veterinary receptionist experience preferred
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working in an environment with unpleasant odors and noises
  • Willingness to work with animals that may bite or scratch
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized
  • Basic computer proficiency

Job Duties

  • Maintain the visual appeal of the hospital reception area
  • Greet and welcome clients and patients
  • Answer questions and triage client concerns
  • Answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution
  • Schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow
  • Check in and check out clients and process payments
  • Offer friendly emotional support to clients during times of need
