Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in customer service or veterinary environment preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including some weekends and holidays
- Proficiency with standard office and business equipment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Strong communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Familiarity with veterinary terminology and procedures advantageous

Job Duties
- Receive and place calls to clients for scheduling
- Prioritize multiple tasks calmly and in an organized manner
- Maintain proper documentation of client and pet records including referral documentation and medical history
- Assist clients by providing instructions, information, and invoices, dispense prescription items as per veterinarian's instructions, and schedule future appointments
- Utilize hospital computer systems to document medical records and communicate with clients and team members
- Manage financial transactions accurately following all cash and credit card handling and hospital procedures
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate professionally
- Advocate for pets through client education on preventative care, treatment recommendations, and hospital services
- Maintain a positive attitude in interactions with clients, pets, and teammates
- Demonstrate empathy toward clients and compassion and respect for pets
