Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Basic computer skills including proficiency with business software
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and Saturdays
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • No prior experience is needed, but a willingness to learn is essential
  • Must be computer savvy and possess strong customer service skills
  • A friendly, positive attitude and the ability to diffuse situations are key

Job Duties

  • Greet clients and their pets as they arrive at the hospital
  • Answer phone calls, which may involve scheduling appointments, answering questions, and screening for service needs
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and email
  • Process payments for visits, medications, and food
  • handle any late payments
  • Document and maintain client information, service data and other pertinent information within business operations software
  • Ensure a welcoming and organized reception area
  • Provide excellent customer service and help maintain a positive client experience
