Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- at least 1 year of experience in veterinary receptionist role preferred
- strong communication skills
- ability to handle stressful situations calmly
- computer proficiency
- ability to work Saturdays
- willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
- ability to tolerate unpleasant odors and noises
- comfortable working around animals

- Experienced receptionist with a minimum of 1-year veterinary experience preferred

Job Duties
- Maintain the visual appeal of the hospital reception area
- greet and welcome clients and patients
- answer questions and triage client concerns
- answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution
- schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow
- check in and check out clients and process payments
- offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need to clients
- withstand unpleasant odors and noises
- handle potential exposure to bites, scratches, animal waste and contagious diseases
