Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in veterinary or client-facing roles preferred
- Knowledge of standard office and business equipment
- Flexible schedule including some weekends and holidays
- Ability to use veterinary software preferred
- Strong communication skills

- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly

Job Duties
- Give excellent customer service and communicate professionally
- Maintain a positive attitude with clients, pets, and teammates
- Show empathy towards clients and compassion towards pets
- Educate clients on preventative care, health needs, and hospital services
- Schedule appointments and manage client calls
- Prioritize multiple tasks calmly and efficiently
- Maintain accurate client and pet records including documentation
- Assist clients by providing instructions, information, and invoices
- Dispense prescription items as per veterinarian instructions
- Utilize hospital computer systems for records and communication
- Manage hospital financial transactions, ensuring accurate balances and adherence to cash and credit card procedures
- Follow proper opening and closing procedures
