Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a medical or veterinary front desk, receptionist, or administrative assistant role
- Basic knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to discuss sensitive topics with empathy
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure

Job Duties
- Greet clients and their pets warmly and complete the sign-in process
- Verify and confirm appointment details and ensure clients feel informed and reassured
- Escort clients to exam rooms and assist in relaying key information between clients and clinical staff
- Handle incoming calls for appointments, care questions, prescription refills, and make outbound calls for reminders and follow-up
- Process payments, manage invoicing, and schedule future appointments with accuracy
- Understand and communicate clearly about common vaccines, lab tests, procedures, pet behavior, and veterinary terminology
- Maintain a clean, organized, and client-ready environment including occasional pet-related clean-up
