Job Requirements

  • Full-time availability
  • ability to withstand unpleasant odors and noises
  • comfortable with exposure to bites, scratches, animal waste, and potentially contagious diseases

Job Qualifications

  • Experienced receptionist with a minimum of 1-year veterinary experience preferred but not required
  • bilingual English / Spanish is highly preferred but not required
  • compassionate and calm team-player
  • strong communication and customer service skills
  • ability to multi-task
  • highly organized
  • possess computer skills
  • self-starter with desire to advance knowledge and skillset

Job Duties

  • Maintain the visual appeal of the hospital reception area
  • greet and welcome clients and patients
  • answer questions and triage client concerns
  • answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution
  • schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow
  • check in and check out clients and process payments
  • offer friendly emotional support to clients in a compassionate and discreet manner
