Job Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months job-related experience preferred
- veterinary medication clerk's licensure a plus
- willing to work occasional half-day Saturdays
- ability to lift and carry up to 40lbs
Job Qualifications
- Must have a passion for providing outstanding customer service and creating a consistently positive atmosphere
- demonstrated excellence in customer service, communication, and listening skills
- compassion for pets and people
- proven decision-making skills to choose the most appropriate course of action
- proficient in computer use with a preference for Microsoft Office knowledge
- experience with Idexx Cornerstone software is a bonus
- willingness to work occasional half-day Saturdays
- ability to lift and carry up to 40lbs
Job Duties
- Provide excellent and expeditious client experience
- greet clients and respond to questions
- process incoming and outgoing pets and handle payments
- answer phone calls including answering questions, screening for service needs, and scheduling appointments
- handle incoming and outgoing mail and e-mail
- monitor client waiting area to ensure cleanliness
- document and maintain client information, service data, and other pertinent information within business operations software
- escalate complex matters to senior staff
