Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work full-time hours including some weekends
- Comfortable working in an environment with animals
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs standing and bending
- Willingness to adhere to hospital infection control and safety protocols
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Job Qualifications
- Comfortable around animals
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable in a fast-paced veterinary environment
- Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience is a plus but not required
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending standing and moving equipment
Job Duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of hospital facilities including exam rooms treatment areas kennels and public spaces
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as mopping sweeping dusting and disinfecting surfaces
- Handle laundry duties including washing drying and folding hospital linens
- Assist with waste disposal and biohazard management following safety protocols
- Restock cleaning supplies and report inventory needs
- Follow all hospital infection control and safety guidelines
