Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- at least 1 year previous experience in veterinary practice or customer-facing role
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- compassionate and sympathetic with ability to maintain professional attitude during emotional and stressful situations
- exceptional telephone and computer skills
- team player willing to learn new techniques, offer creative ideas, and accept change
- preferred previous experience using Practice Management System

Job Duties
- Answer practice phone and route calls appropriately
- maintain hospital appointment calendar including scheduling and reviewing online bookings
- greet all visitors by name and notify technical staff of arrivals
- monitor wait times and manage accommodations during busy periods or emergencies
- participate in training new staff and disseminate knowledge
- ensure the waiting area is clean and well-stocked using disinfectants when necessary
- confirm all appointments by client’s preferred communication method prior day and adjust as needed
- provide backup support to technical staff for room loading and patient discharge when staff are occupied
