Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in veterinary practice or customer-facing role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and compassion under stress
  • Strong telephone and computer proficiency
  • Team-oriented mindset
  • Flexibility to adapt and learn
  • Preferred experience using a Practice Management System

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Compassionate and able to maintain professionalism in stressful situations
  • Exceptional telephone and computer skills

  • Preferred experience with Practice Management System

Job Duties

  • Answer the practice phone and route calls appropriately
  • Maintain hospital appointment calendar including scheduling appointments and reviewing online bookings
  • Greet all visitors and clients, notify technical staff upon arrival, and monitor wait times
  • Participate in training new staff and disseminating knowledge
  • Ensure waiting area cleanliness and stock appropriate materials
  • Confirm appointments using clients preferred communication method and make adjustments
  • Provide backup support to technical staff when necessary
