Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- at least 1 year's previous experience in veterinary practice or customer-facing role
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- compassionate and professional attitude during emotional and stressful situations
- exceptional telephone and computer skills
- team player with willingness to learn and adapt
- preferred previous experience with Practice Management System

Job Duties
- Assume primary responsibility for answering the practice phone and routing calls appropriately
- maintain hospital appointment calendar including scheduling appointments from callers or visitors and reviewing online bookings
- greet all visitors to the practice and notify technical staff when they arrive
- monitor wait times and accommodate during peak or emergency situations
- participate in the training of new staff members and disseminate knowledge
- ensure waiting area is consistently cleaned and well-stocked
- confirm all appointments by client’s preferred communication method and make necessary adjustments
- provide backup support to technical staff when needed
