Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- At least one year's previous experience working in veterinary practice or customer-facing role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Compassionate and professional attitude during emotional and stressful situations
- Exceptional telephone and computer skills
- Team player willing to learn new techniques and treatments
- Preferred previous experience using Practice Management System

Job Duties
- Answer the practice phone and route calls appropriately
- Maintain hospital appointment calendar including scheduling appointments from callers or visitors and reviewing online bookings
- Greet visitors and clients by name as they arrive for appointments
- Notify technical staff when clients arrive
- Monitor wait times and make accommodations during peak times or emergencies
- Participate in training new staff members and sharing knowledge
- Ensure waiting area is clean and well-stocked including use of disinfectants when necessary
- Confirm appointments by client’s preferred communication method
- Provide backup support to technical staff when needed for loading rooms or discharging patients
