Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Minimum 1 year experience in veterinary or customer service role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Compassionate and professional demeanor under stress
  • Strong telephone and computer skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and processes

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • At least 1 year experience in veterinary practice or customer-facing role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Compassionate and professional attitude during emotional situations
  • Exceptional telephone and computer skills
  • Team player willing to learn and adapt
  • Preferred experience with Practice Management System

Job Duties

  • Answer the practice phone and route calls appropriately
  • Maintain hospital appointment calendar including scheduling and reviewing bookings
  • Greet clients and patients by name, notify technical staff of arrivals, and manage wait times
  • Participate in training new staff and disseminating knowledge
  • Ensure waiting area is clean and well-stocked with appropriate materials
  • Confirm all appointments by client preferred methods and make adjustments
  • Provide backup support to technical staff with logistical tasks
