Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a veterinary clinic or hospital, preferably as a Veterinary Receptionist or Client Service Representative
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal health procedures
- Experience with veterinary practice management software
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally
- Availability to work evenings or weekends if necessary
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a veterinary clinic or veterinary hospital, preferably in a CSR or veterinary receptionist role
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology and common animal health procedures
- Experience with practice management software, including electronic records and scheduling systems
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Exceptional communication skills with professional and empathetic client interaction
- Ability to work well as part of a team and contribute positively
- Reliability, punctuality, and maintaining a professional demeanor
Job Duties
- Greet clients with a friendly, positive attitude both in-person and over the phone
- Provide information about the clinic's services and assist clients with questions or concerns
- Manage appointment scheduling, confirm appointments, and follow up as needed
- Ensure accurate entry and maintenance of client and pet information in the electronic system
- Maintain and organize detailed electronic medical records for clients and patients
- Process payments, handle insurance claims, provide cost estimates, and follow up on outstanding payments
- Address client concerns or complaints promptly and professionally
- Communicate effectively with veterinarians, technicians, and clinic staff to ensure excellent patient care
- Assist with inventory tracking, restocking supplies, and managing office resources
- Ensure confidentiality of client and patient information and maintain compliance with clinic policies and regulations
