Job Requirements

  • Licensed veterinarian eligible to practice in Georgia
  • degree from an accredited veterinary college
  • commitment to small animal medicine
  • ability to work flexible hours including some Saturdays
  • willingness to participate in mentorship and learning programs
  • strong ethical standards
  • excellent organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree
  • license to practice veterinary medicine
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • commitment to continuing education and professional development
  • experience with small animals preferred but not required
  • passion for high-quality, compassionate veterinary care

Job Duties

  • Examine and treat cats and dogs presenting to the hospital
  • perform surgeries with supervision and mentorship
  • collaborate with team members to provide comprehensive care
  • educate pet owners on preventive and therapeutic measures
  • utilize diagnostic tools such as digital x-rays, dental radiographs, and ultrasound
  • participate in community outreach and rescue partnerships
  • maintain accurate medical records and comply with hospital protocols
